In the second hour, Detroit Lions preseason broadcaster Matt Shepard said that the Lions are headed in the right direction with Schwartz, Stafford, and Calvin Johnson – but will need some luck on their side to overtake the Packers.

Grant then went to work on the over-promotion of Danica Patrick during his Rant, pointing out that Patrick has but a single win in her career.
