Waterford Murder Suspect Turns Himself In

WATERFORD (CBS13) -– The suspect in a stabbing death in Waterford turned himself in to the San Joaquin Sheriff's Office on Thursday.

Johnny Carrizales, 27, was booked into the Stanislaus County Jail after coming into the sheriff's office at noon.

Sheriff's deputies responded to the Waterford Garden Apartments, located at 12313 Dorsey Street on Sunday night at 8:05 for reports of a fight. When deputies arrived they found 23-year-old James Mandall of Waterford with multiple stab wounds.

Mandall was taken to a local hospital where he died as a result of his injuries. Through their investigation, deputies identified Carrizales of Waterford as a suspect.
