Teen Critically Injured In Accident

MODESTO (CBS13) -- A teen is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in front of a high school Friday afternoon.

The Modesto Police Department said the 15-year-old victim was bicycling on Sylvan Avenue in front of Fred C. Beyer High School when a car, apparently driven by a 17-year-old student, slammed into the cyclist.

The identity of the victim has not been released.

Authorities are still investigating the scene of the accident.
