Crews Working To Repair Broken Water Main In West Sacramento

WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Dozens of homes in West Sacramento are without water this morning after a water main burst overnight.

Utility crews are working to repair the broken pipe under the street at Diane Drive and Leslie Lane.

Reports of the leaking pipe first came in around 1 this morning. 

Residents are having to deal with a lot of noise as crews are using a very loud vacuum truck to suck the water away so they can reach the water main.

Crews don't know what caused the break or when exactly when it will be fixed but say they will be there for several more hours.
