Sac State Police Investigating Report Of Sexual Battery In Library

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Sacramento State Police are investigating reports of a sexual battery in the main library on campus.

The alleged incident happened on Monday but was not reported to campus police until the next day.

The victim says the suspect approached her in the library and asked if he could draw her. While the suspect sketched, he allegedly touched the victim's leg and buttocks several times. The victim felt uncomfortable and left the library.

The suspect is described as a black man in his late 20's or early 30's. He's about six feet tall and weighs 150 pounds. His hair is black was styled into short twits. The suspect had an African accent and was wearing a black long sleeve shirt, black jacket and cream-colored pants.

Sac State Police say they have a possible suspect identified.
