The holiday season can mean many things to many people, a time for celebration and being with family, but it also has some other perks – holiday craft fairs! Now hear me out, every year you must come up with thoughtful gifts for family, friends and even some co-works, so what's better than giving a "home made" craft? Sure it might not be made by you, but it's the thought that counts. Here are a few of the holiday craft fairs and bazaars talking place around Sacramento.

There is great food and entertainment, and pictures with Santa. Shops and restaurants will be open late, and there will be Holiday Open House in all shops! This a time to go from "normal" city living and enter "Christmas Town!" and have an unmatched holiday experience! Old Town is a perfect opportunity to whittle down your Christmas shopping list, while enjoying the holiday spirit.

This place is a fall/ winter holiday must for me and so many others! Whether it's for cutting down a Christmas tree, finding a wonderful wine, jams, pies or a Halloween Pumpkin this place is an adventure for young and old alike. From the beautifully photographic rolling hills filled with fall trees, grapevines, apple trees, and pumpkins it's almost like a spot of New England in Northern California. Stock up on goodies, wine and Christmas treats for host and hostess gifts throughout the season, or for some holiday hosting yourself.

The Antique Faire is a treasure hunter's paradise - and hunt you will, it's never assumed a find will be found, but when you find what your looking for it'll be the perfect gift! The faire covers the space of two state parking lots on an empty weekend and vendors have set up shop will all the space there is to spare! With food vendors, and only a $3 entry fee this place is far more unique than any mall you'd head to, so check it out for some unique gift options!
