Wells Fargo Bank In Carmichael Robbed At Gunpoint

CARMICHAEL (CBS13) – Police are searching for three men – one of them armed -- who held up a bank in Carmichael on Friday.

The incident happened at around 9:30 a.m. at the Wells Fargo bank in the 7200 block of Fair Oaks Boulevard, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Dept. Three men wearing black hooded sweatshirts came into the bank, jumped the teller line, took money from some of the drawers and left.

Deputies are searching for the men in a nearby apartment complex.

Paramedics came to the bank to treat one of the bank employees who had a panic attack.

The suspects are described as black males wearing bandanas over their faces. Anyone having information regarding the identity of these suspects is asked to call the Sheriff's Department at (916) 874-5115, Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP, or send a text message tip to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
