Modesto Police Looking For Driver In Fatal Bike Hit-And-Run

MODESTO, Calif. (AP) — Modesto police are asking for the public's help to find the driver responsible for the hit-and-run death of an elderly bicyclist.

Police say 67-year-old Ray Rogers was hit by the driver of a white pickup truck around 6:40 a.m. Friday. The circumstances of the collision remain under investigation.

Police have not yet identified a suspect.

Rogers was transported to a hospital, where he died.

Police say the truck left the scene of the collision. They are asking the public to be on the lookout for a white pickup that may have minor to moderate damage to the front bumper.
