The Grant Napear Show - February 1, 2012

There was a lot to talk about today on the Grant Napear Show with NBA, college football, and Super Bowl analysis in full swing. Grant took calls about the Kings, the Super Bowl, and boxing. Grant also interviewed Bob Papa, Dan Beyer, Shaq Thompson and Joe Davidson.

Bob Papa, the voice of the New York Giants joined Grant today. They discussed Super Bowl 46 between the New York Giants and New England Patriots. Bob compared this matchup to the Super Bowl matchup between the Giants and Patriots a few years ago. He also talked about what each team needs to do to win, and why Eli Manning has been so successful in New York.

Dan Beyer from Fox Sports was on with Grant today. Dan and Grant discussed Super Bowl 46 and the matchup between the Patriots and Giants. Dan also talked about Osi Umenyiora being fined $20 thousand for missing a mandatory interview period with Fox.

Shaq Thompson from Grant High School joined the show today. Shaq recently signed a national letter of intent to the University of Washington, and talked about his decision to sign there despite being pursued by many of the top football programs in the country. He also discussed the recruiting process, and his mindset heading into his first season of college football.

Joe Davidson from the Sacramento Bee came on the show today to talk about local high school football recruits. Joe discussed Arik Armstead and Shaq Thompson and their potential to go pro after their college careers. He also talked about other top recruits from the area and where they ended up on National Signing Day.
