The Grant Napear Show - July 30, 2012

Today, Grant returned from his week off, rested and ready to talk sports.

Grant began the show by talking about the San Francisco Giants' and Oakland A's records as of this past weekend. Grant also spoke about ESPN's coverage of New York Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow as of recently and the Sacramento Kings' 2012-13 schedule.

Ken Korach, play-by-play broadcaster for the Oakland A's, joined Grant today to talk about the A's recent surge in the standings after going 18-4 in July, as of today.

Korach also talked about the A's playoff hopes, considering there is an extra wild card spot this season, and compared the popularity between the Giants and A's.

Ray Ratto from Comcast SportsNet Bay Area was on with Grant to talk about the Giants, A's, San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders today.

Ratto talked about Giants' trade speculations, the A's recent slew of wins and the 49ers' and Raiders' chances of being better teams in the coming season

Willie Roaf, former New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs lineman, was on the show to talk about being inducted into the Hall of Fame this coming Saturday.

Roaf reminisced about his college career and NFL career, and spoke about preparing for the coming weekend.
