The Grant Napear Show - November 1, 2012

Last night was the first game of the Sacramento Kings' season, so Grant kicked off the show by giving his thoughts on what he saw from the team and what they need to work on going into their next few games.

Steve Aschburner of NBA.com was covering the Kings and Chicago Bulls game last night so he joined Grant today to talk hoops.

Aschburner shared his observations of the Kings and talked about the status of the Bulls roster without Derrick Rose, the potential that lies in Jason Thompson, the James Harden trade and the 0-2 start for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Oakland Raiders' wide receiver Denarius Moore was on the show with Grant for some Raiders talk.

Moore discussed his relationship with Carson Palmer, the trust that his teammates have in one another, the improvement of the Raiders' offensive schemes and the ways the Raiders can capitalize on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' defense on Sunday.

NFL columnist Mike Silver of Yahoo Sports came on the show with Grant to talk some pigskin.

Silver talked about the New Orleans Saints' terrible start to the season, the Dallas Cowboys continuing to lose games, the potential for the Bears to be a good playoff team, the importance of the Atlanta Falcons having home field advantage in the playoffs, the notoriety he's gained since his picture was taken with Aaron Rodgers on the field and the Raiders' offense looking worse after the firing of Hue Jackson.
