Davis Police Investigating Two Weekend Robberies

DAVIS (CBS13) – Davis Police are investigating two robberies that took place on Sunday.

The first robbery happened early Sunday morning in the area of East 8th Street and Poleline Road. The victim says he was attacked and robbed by three to four men while he was walking in the area. He could not provide any further description.

The second robbery happened around 7:30 Sunday evening at Slide Hill Park. The victim says he arranged to meet someone at the park who was selling electronics. When the victim took out his money to pay, the suspect grabbed the money, shoved the victim and took off in a waiting car.

The suspect is described as an African-American male, approximately 20 years old and stood at approximately 5-feet-10. The suspect was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. A second person who accompanied the suspect was described as a Hispanic male, approximately 20 years old, 5-feet-10 and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. A third suspect was also present but no description was provided. The suspect's vehicle is described only as a dark-colored sedan.
