The Grant Napear Show - January 3, 2013

The Grant Napear Show was started with Grant talking about DeMarcus Cousins play and Tyreke Evans injury. The NFL was a topic of discussion on the show with the NFL Wild Card Weekend starting on Saturday. Grant talked about the Oakland Raiders season, Tony Romo's inability to close a season and get into the playoffs, and gave his picks for the Wild Card games.

Fox NFL Analyst, Brian Billick, came by the show and started by talking about Ray Lewis coming out and saying he is going to retire after this season is done. Grant asked Coach Billick about the San Francisco 49ers and what they need to do to get back to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1995. Brian also had a chance to talk about the rest of the playoff field as well.

Sacramento Kings Head Coach, Keith Smart, was on with Grant and talked about DeMarcus Cousins, Tyreke Evans, and the current road trip the Kings are on and what they need to do to have a successful finish to this road trip. Coach Smart also talked about what veteran players do to stay in the league and how the younger players need to watch this and try to emulate them.

San Francisco 49ers Full Back, Bruce Miller, came on the show and talked about the Wild Card Weekend and what the 49ers need to do to have a long run in the playoffs. Bruce also talked about what it's like to play with a running back like Frank Gore and what the 49ers confidence is like going into the postseason.

Sirius XM Radio host, Adam Caplan, gave Grant some time and talked about the NFL Playoffs and what every team needs to do to win their matchups this weekend. Adam also speculated on the career path of former Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach Andy Reid. Adam took a look into the Divisional Round of the playoffs and a hard look at Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons especially. Grant asked about what Adam thought about the 49ers chances in the playoffs are and what they might be missing in comparison to last year.
