The Don Geronimo Show - February 4, 2013

The day begins with a recap of the Super Bowl, including the commercials, the musical performances, the power outage in the second half, and of course, the game itself. Craig and Little Joe are both in crappy moods after their beloved 49ers not only lost, but played horribly for most of the game. Don tells us why he thinks his next door neighbor jinxed it for the Niners, and then asks the guys if they noticed our buddy James Brown's hair, which looks painted on.

After hearing a few Super Bowl clips, including Boomer Esiason saying he's "sick of Ray Lewis," Alicia Keys' self indulgent National Anthem, and President Obama's pre-game interview. We hear the highlights from part 2 of Dr. Phil's interview with Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, and Katie Couric tell Jimmy Kimmel about his date with Larry King. Don then reads off the top 10 Super Bowl ads, and we hear that Shirley Maclane made her daughter have sex when she was 17.

After another phone scan, we get a visit from Chris Myers from NFL on FOX. Chris talks about the Super Bowl, especially the power outage, and gearing up for the new NASCAR season. Don then tells us that yesterday's game was the highest rated Super Bowl ever, and then it's time for the "Phantom News." Today, Facebook turns 9 today, tomorrow is National Pancake Day, McDonalds' new "Fish Filet Bites," and a woman goes on a crotch kicking spree. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
