SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) — Authorities say they have arrested a 20-year-old man suspected of stealing money from a Girl Scout troop that was selling cookies.
San Bernardino County sheriff’s officials said that after surveillance footage was widely aired they identified the suspect Colin Sawyer and arrested him at a gas station in the Phelan area on Monday night.READ MORE: Family Asks For Potential Witnesses To Come Forward Following Deadly Stockton Hit-And-Run
A night earlier, the Girls Scouts reported that a young man grabbed a bag of money from their table outside a Stater Bros. supermarket.

One Girl Scout chased him, but fell, causing minor scrapes and scratches.
The man was captured on surveillance video entering the store.
