FOOTHILL FARMS (CBS13) - The Sacramento County Coroner has identified the Foothill Farms woman who was shot and killed Friday as Deandra Horton, 34.

Horton was killed and a second person was injured at a shooting an apartment complex in the Foothill Farms area of Sacramento County. Investigators were unable to confirm witness reports of a third victim.

The shooting happened on Friday afternoon in the 5800 block of Hamilton Street, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.

"I seen a lot of blood around the guy that was in the wheelchair, and the woman, she was just laying still," said one witness.

Horton was declared dead at the scene. A second victim, a male who uses a wheelchair, was taken to the hospital.

"As far as the motive or what transpired prior to this, we have no idea," said Sgt. Jason Ramos.

Witnesses say there may be a possible third victim. The person was seen being loaded into a car that quickly took off and possibly took the victim to the hospital.

"Our call taker could hear shots being fired still, when that person was on the phone with the caller," said Ramos.

One witness said that a bullet flew through his home.

"I heard bullet shots, I hit the floor, and I heard one hit my wall. Then after everything subsided, I went outside and saw the hole in the wall," he said.

Investigators arrested 29-year-old Shoreem Bryant and are holding him on charges of accessory to murder and parole violation.
