Man Grazed By Bullet Fired Into His Residence

A man was grazed by a random bullet fired into his home on Sunday night.

The Sacramento Police Department says officers were patrolling the area of Grand Avenue and May Street in Sacramento at around 10 p.m. on Sunday when they heard multiple gunshots.

After the shooting, a resident called 911 saying a bullet entered his home and grazed him. Officers went to the residence and found shell casings and evidence of a shooting having taken place.

No other victims were located. The victim was treated at the scene.

It's unknown at this point why the shot was fired at the home.
