MODESTO (CBS13) – Strong winds fanned a fire at a vacant Modesto home this morning.

Firefighters say the blaze started in the garage of the home on Kerr Avenue near Canal Street, and with the help of strong winds, quickly spread to the attic.

No one was inside the home, which is now being called a complete loss.

The fire isn’t threatening any other buildings and no one was injured.
