Fundraiser Held For Couple With Local Ties Injured In Boston Marathon Bombing

FAIR OAKS (CBS13) - The community of Fair Oaks gathered today to support a local woman and her husband injured in the Boston Marathon bombings.

A morning of yoga in the park was held to raise awareness, provide positive energy, and offer donations for Patrick and Jessica Downes who both lost a leg in the tragic attack.

Participants hope their efforts will help inspire the couple to not give up.

Jessica is a Sacramento native who graduated from St. Francis High School and now lives in Boston.
