Hospital Worker Accused Of Sexting With Teens, Having Sex With 14-Year-Old

ROSEVILLE (CBS13) — A hospital worker is accused of sending sexual text messages to at least five teenagers and having sex with at least one of the girls.

Officers say the suspect was sending and receiving sexually explicit messages with underage girls on his cellphone using an instant-messaging app called Kik.

Jacob Mora, 29, is also accused of having sex with a 14-year-old Rocklin girl. Her dad contacted police.

"Our particular suspect seeked out pictures of younger-looking females," said Captain Lon Milka.

Police arrested him at his apartment, leaving family members shocked by the allegations.

"He's never done anything bad. It came out of nowhere, and we don't know what, if anything, is happening."

He works at Sutter Roseville Hospital where he transports patients in wheelchairs.

CBS13 asked the hospital if they started an internal investigation after his arrest, but they told us they couldn't comment, because it's a personnel issue.

Police say Mora's arrest serves as a valuable lesson to parents and teens about the dangers of texting.

"Just be careful what you are sending people, because it can be kept forever and you don't know where it's going after you send it," said teen Hailey Morton.

Police believe there could be more than the five victims, but don't believe patients at the hospital were victimized.
