Shooting Shatters Contra Costa County Courthouse Window; No Injuries

PITTSBURG, Calif. (AP) — Authorities say no one was injured in a shooting outside a Northern California courthouse that shattered a window in a jury assembly room.

Mimi Lyster, spokeswoman for the Contra Costa County Superior Courts, said the shooting occurred at the Arnason Justice Center in Pittsburg at about 7:45 a.m. Friday.

The courthouse was locked down for about half an hour, but has been reopened and is conducting business normally, Lyster said.

Police and sheriff personnel are investigating the shooting.
