FBI: Craigslist Viagra Sales Made Sacramento Couple $2,000 A Month

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A Sacramento woman is facing hard time after being arrested for dealing thousands of bogus Viagra pills on Craigslist.

Susan Eversoll admits she was dealing thousands of generic Viagra pills on the streets of Sacramento.

"I don't see how I've done anything wrong," she said.

The FBI says over a two-year period, she and her boyfriend Ricky Campbell made approximately $2,000 a month by selling the pills for $5 apiece.

"You put an ad out on Craigslist for generic Viagra. Somebody wanted to buy generic Viagra, and someone would get in touch with you," Eversoll said.

Investigators say many of the fake pills are manufactured in backrooms in places such as China, India, or Mexico. Customers have no idea what they're getting, and feds say the results can be deadly.

"I would never want that to happen," Eversoll said. "I never meant it like that, but I would never want that to happen."

Eversoll says he boyfriend has never been hurt by his own product.

"He took the product because he had problems with erectile function," she said. "That's what got him started with them."
