Man Arrested Living On Southern California Pharmacy Refrigerators

VENTURA, Calif. (AP) - Police say they found a man who had been living on top of refrigerators at a Southern California pharmacy and using a hole in the roof as his door.

The Ventura County Star (http://bit.ly/19XmGWV ) reports Friday that Simi Valley police responding to a reported burglary at the pharmacy found 21-year-old transient Tristan Odegard-Brown at the scene Thursday night.

Police say remnants of drywall and ceiling tiles on the suspect's clothes led them to a large hole in the pharmacy's roof that Odegard-Brown had been using to get in and out of the pharmacy building.

Investigators he'd been living on top of refrigeration units in the back of the pharmacy.

He was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
