Several mobile homes have been destroyed by a grass fire in Placer County.

The fire started at 5:18 p.m. in the area of PFE and Wallerga Roads, which is west of Roseville. It spread to Sabre City mobile home park where at least six homes caught fire.

Roads going into the area have been closed.

Thirteen engines and two trucks are battling the fire.

Sheriff’s deputies are going from unit to unit evacuating park residents.

Cal Fire and the Placer County Fire Department are getting help from Rocklin, Roseville, and Sacramento Metro Fire Departments.
