Man Claiming To Be Armed Robs River City Bank In Granite Bay

GRANITE BAY (CBS13) – The River City Bank in Granite Bay was robbed just before 10:30 a.m. Friday, deputies say.

According to the Placer County Sheriff's Department, a suspect walked into the Cavitt Stallman Road bank and handed a teller a note. The man claimed to be armed, deputies say, but no gun was seen.

The man was then given an unspecified amount of cash and he walked out.

Deputies say that the man looks be a white, about 35-years-old and about 5'6" tall. He was wearing a red Anaheim Angels baseball cap at the time of the robbery, deputies say.

No one was hurt in the robbery.
