
SUTTER COUNTY (CBS13) — A suspected marijuana theft led to a chase with the California Highway Patrol and the Sutter County Sheriff’s Department.
A CHP officer reportedly saw a Jeep run a red light at Poole Avenue and Starr Drive. The three men inside the Jeep stopped the car shortly into the chase and ran off on foot.

Lauderdale, Florida—ran behind the Sutter County Jail, and was spotted by a sheriff’s deputy. The driver then allegedly pulled a gun on the deputy, prompting the deputy to draw his own gun and fire. The suspect wasn’t struck, but decided it was time to surrender.
