Deputy Activity Nearby Prompts Granite Bay High To Shelter-In-Place

PLACER COUNTY (CBS13) – Granite Bay High School was put on a shelter-in-place order due to deputy activity nearby late Wednesday morning.

Dispatchers say that officers responded to a burglary along the 9000 block of Cedar Ridge Drive just after 10 a.m. Several deputies and patrol cars are at the scene, surrounding a home.

Two suspects have reportedly been caught.

The shelter-in-place order for Granite Bay High has since been lifted.
