Lodi Courthouse Reopens After California Budget Cuts Forced Closure Two Years Ago

LODI (CBS13) — The courthouse in the city of Lodi has reopened after budget cuts forced closures.

For the first time in two years, services are back in Lodi. The state shut down both of the city's courts, as well as another in Tracy.

"It's an access to justice issue," said San Joaquin County Superior Court Judge David Warner. "Not everybody has a car."

The court started scheduling on Monday for small claims, traffic and criminal issues.
