SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Sacramento police have announced the arrest of a fourth suspect in connection with the murder of a Sacramento senior.
Last week, police arrested three family members who pretended to befriended 77-year-old Leo Curry Jr., allegedly stole from him and then killed him. His body was found inside of his home on Shining Star Drive in Sacramento on November 17.READ MORE: 'I Saw The Suffering In People's Faces: Sacramento Man Finds Strollers For War-Torn Refugees
On Monday, police arrested the fourth suspect who is also charged with his murder.
Curry was trying to help when he met the family who appeared to be in need, so investigators say. He invited 37-year-old Michael Moreno, 35-year-old Sandy George and 19-year-old Kevin Moreno into his home.
The fourth suspect is identified as 18-year-old Peaches Alexis Moreno. It’s unknown how exactly she was involved with the murder. She has also been charged with robbery and conspiracy.
“The victim befriended these folks and they just immediately started taking advantage of him,” said Sacramento Police Dept. spokesman Officer Doug Morse.

Leo’s family called police when they hadn’t heard from him in days. Neighbors were suspicious too.
His car, which is normally parked in the driveway, went missing.
“It was a huge red flag to us that all the sudden it’s up for sale,” said Morse.
It turned out to be a key clue. Detectives found the missing car for sale online. Police say the suspects stole it and, after murdering Curry, sold it.
All four suspects are being held behind bars.
