Sutter County Sheriff's Captain Indicted On Additional Charges
The Sutter County sheriff's captain accused of child abused faced a judge this afternoon.
Lewis McElfresh Jr. was arraigned on a new list of charges, including sexual abuse of a minor.
Authorities arrested McElfresh on Tuesday and believe the victim is a teenage girl. Last night on the CBS13 News, former porn film producer Donny Pauling told us that McElfresh, one of his friends, asked him over and tried to get him to have sex with the deputy's 16-year-old family member.
Pauling denies ever touching the girl.
"I came over to his house and he tried to get me to sleep with her. He said to me that she wanted to sleep with me," said Pauling.
He says McElfresh got the underage girl to undress.
Pauling Says McElfresh Urged Him To Have Sex With Teen
McElfresh was originally supposed to be transported to the Colusa County Jail because he is the commander of the Sutter County Jail. Instead, he was booked into the Yolo County Jail because Pauling is at the Colusa County Jail.
McElfresh's bail is set at $5 million.
