Modesto Police Asking Victims Of Suspected Serial Flasher To Come Forward

MODESTO (CBS13) - Modesto police are asking victims of a suspected serial flasher to come forward.

Officers have arrested an unnamed suspect accused of exposing himself to children in several different locations throughout Modesto, according to a Modesto Police Department statement. So far, officers have linked the suspect to eight separate incidents in which he allegedly exposed his genitals to victims. In one incident, he allegedly groped a female victim.

Victims tell police the man would try to get their attention, and once the victims looked his way, he exposed his genitals to them. The incidents happened throughout the city, including near schools. The suspect remains in custody and isn't currently a threat.

The suspect is described as an Asian male in his mid-20s. He is also described by some as having the appearance of a Hispanic man. He is described as weighing between 120-140 pounds and stands between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 6 inches tall. During some of the incidents, he wore a black hooded sweatshirt and skinny jeans. He was also been seen with black "spiky" hair.
