As 2014 comes to a close, there are still some very talented and desirable names among the free agent market waiting for an acceptable offer to come their way. Only question is, which team is willing to pay these guys the money they want as opposed to the money they deserve. Here are the top 5 remaining free agents in baseball with key stats from their 2014 season.

1. Max Sherzer
2014 regular season with Detroit:
18-5 with a 3.15 ERA in 33 starts with 220.1 innings pitched and 252 strikeouts.

2. James Shields
2014 regular season with Kansas City:
14-8 with a 3.21 ERA in 34 starts with 227 innings pitched and 180 strikeouts.

3. Asdrubal Cabrera
2014 regular season with Cleveland & Washington:
