Elk Grove Police Looking For Help In Burned-Dog Case

ELK GROVE (CBS13) - Elk Grove authorities are searching for clues in connection with a dog that was set on fire late last year.

On December 21, 2014, animal control officers responded to Elk Grove Florin Road and Elk Grove Boulevard where a citizen had a stay female dog that had severe burns over 1/2 of its body, according to an EGPD statement. The dog is described as loving and kind; and is in urgent need of treatment.

Police are looking the public's help to locate the owner of the dog and the person responsible for this inhumane act.
