4 People Arrested In Roseville For Possession Of Controlled Substance

ROSEVILLE (CBS13) - Police arrested four people Tuesday morning after a traffic stop in Roseville.

Officers surrounded the area along Industrial Avenue near Justice Center Drive after pulling a car over for speeding.

There were five people inside. One took off running and got away.

"The driver as a little uncooperative. During contact with one of the passengers, he was reaching down to his waistband...possibly a weapon. The officer went over to try to contact the passenger who then started fighting with the officer and took off running," said Sgt. Patrick Blake, a Roseville Police Department spokesperson.

Officers eventually called off the search, but arrested the remaining four people for having a controlled substance in a car.
