Tests Negative For Possible Sacramento County Measles Case

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – County health officials announced Wednesday that the possible measles case they were testing has come back negative.

The test results mean that Sacramento County has avoided its first case of the measles since the California outbreak was first reported.

As of Tuesday, the number of measles cases across the state stood at 73.

Officials from the Sacramento County Department of Public Health will be speaking about the case at 3:30 p.m.
