Roseanne Barr Tweets She Hopes UC Davis 'Gets Nuked'

DAVIS (CBS13) – Comedian Roseanne Barr has started a twitter firestorm after saying she hopes UC Davis "gets nuked".

Her comments come after pro-Palestinian students passed a resolution to boycott Israel.

The comedian first tweeted "I hope all the jews leave UC Davis & then it gets nuked!"

That tweet has been deleted, but another tweet remains that simply states "#nukeUCDavisJewHaters."

Since posting those tweets, Barr's has been retweeting people who support her and others who are tweeting obscene and anti-Semitic slurs.

The recent resolution passed by UC Davis students presses the University of California system to divest from Israeli companies.

Since then, there have also been two cases vandalism on campus aimed at Jewish students.
