“I know stuff happens in life and I’ve seen stuff happen in life, but I’m 38 now and I haven’t seen anything like this in a long time. So it’s just crazy to wake up at 5 in the morning, get ready to go to work…see a thousand police outside and crime tape everywhere,” said Byron Burnett, who lives at the complex.

The victim is identified as a male in his 20s.
