Man Accused Of Illegally Carrying Loaded Shotgun Near Fairfield Playground
FAIRFIELD (CBS13) - Fairfield police have arrested a man near a playground Tuesday morning on weapon charges.
The man was allegedly carrying a concealed gun with sawed-off stock and barrels in the 1400 block of Utah Street, according to a statement on the department's Facebook page.
Although the post includes the hashtag #blunderbuss, which is a large-bore, muzzle loading firearm, the gun appears to be an antique-looking double-barrel shotgun.
