Vegetation Fire In Modesto Put Out; Second Fire Near Airport Contained
MODESTO (CBS13) - A vegetation fire burning in Modesto Tuesday in the Tuolumne River Regional Park has been contained, say firefighters. The fire was burning near Mitchell Road, near the Modesto Airport.
Airport operations were reportedly not threatened by the fire.
A second fire that was burning in the area of Church Street and Parker Road has been put out.
Neither of the fires prompted any evacuations.
