Police Searching For Suspects Behind 5 Local Pharmacy Robberies

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Sacramento police are searching for two suspects wanted in connection with five pharmacy robberies over the last month.

In each incident, the suspects approached the counter and handed over demand notes for pharmaceuticals. The notes also mention the suspects are armed, although they have never brandished weapons.

Investigators say, in the last month, the suspects hit a Walgreens on Broadway three times, one on Fruitridge Road once, and a Rite Aid on Fair Oaks Boulevard.

Following is the list of robberies linked to the suspects, police say:

- May 7, 2015, Walgreens (1401 Broadway)
- May 9, 2015, Walgreens (1401 Broadway)
- May 20, 2015, Walgreens (1401 Broadway)
- May 20, 2015, Rite Aid (6325 Fair Oaks Blvd.)
- June 1, 2015, Walgreens (1919 Fruitridge Rd.)

Police are asking for help to track down the suspects, who are described as white or Hispanic. One of the men is believed to be 20-29 years old and 5 feet 8 inches tall. The second suspect was reported to be 19 to 25 years of age and just over 6 feet tall.

Detectives believe the same suspects may also be responsible for more robberies in Sacramento County.
