The Most Popular Beer in America Is ...?

Beer is good. People like beer. In fact, people like beer ALOT!! In 2013, the 20 best selling beers in the U.S. combined to bring in almost $21 BILLION! Yes, BILLION with a "B" and "ILLION" in all capital letters for emphasis.

Remarkably enough, the race for the top selling beer in American isn't close at all! In fact it's so lopsided an accurate comparison would be a team of NBA All Stars showing up at your 8 year old's school and proceeding to destroy a team of poor, defenseless second graders in a pickup game!

We're not sure what stat is more amazing ... that Coors Light, the second most popular beer in America, sold more than $2.3 billion worth in 2013, or that the beer that finished first sold almost $3.6 billion MORE than Coors Light. Yep, the top selling beer in the U.S. in 2013 was Bud Light, which had sales of more than $5.9 billion!!!

It's not surprising that Bud Light is the most popular beer in America, but it is surprising that they are #1 by such a wide margin. Who knows, maybe it's commercials like this that attract so many red blooded, Bud Light loving Americans!
