Man Injured At Modesto Airport After Crashing Plane Into Fence

MODESTO (CBS13) - A pilot was injured Monday afternoon at Modesto City–County Airport after he crashed his plane into a fence.

The incident happened at 2:15 p.m. Airport manager Mark Germanowski says the small plane was taxiing, when, for unknown reasons, it crashed into a fence running around the airport's perimeter.

The pilot was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries. He is expected to be OK. He was reportedly the only person on the plane at the time.

The plane is a Navigator 600.
