1 Arrested After Vehicle Hits Water Main In South Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Water was sent shooting high into the air in South Sacramento on Monday morning after a car crashed into a pipe.

The incident happened around 6:20 a.m. on Sky Parkway, just north of 65th Street. The car hit the pipe and came to rest on red metal poles that surrounded the main.

The owner of the car told Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies her son was driving the car at the time. A hand cuffed man was seen being put into the back of a sheriff's department vehicle.

The water was shut off around 7:50 a.m.

No one was injured in the crash.
