Man Accused Of Biting Police Officer In Elk Grove

ELK GROVE (CBS13) - A man is accused of biting an Elk Grove police officer after reportedly lurking around and ATM.

The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. at a Wells Fargo ATM on Bond and Elk Grove Florin Roads. Someone called 911 reporting the man was acting suspicious in the area of the ATM.

When officers arrived, a struggle ensued, and it eventually took five officers to arrest the man, who was also shocked with a stun gun.

The man faces assault charges. It's unknown if he will face any other charges.
