2 Fish And Wildlife Wardens Rescued After Their Boat Explodes

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (AP) - Officials say two Fish and Wildlife wardens were rescued after their boat exploded near Santa Cruz.

Television station KSBW reports the wardens were checking the activities of several fishing boats when their boat exploded Saturday off the Four Mile Beach.

A good Samaritan pulled the wardens out of the water. The wardens were taken to a hospital for treatment.

The U.S. Coast Guard is investigating the cause of the explosion.
