How Can You Help Victims Of The Valley Fire?

Donations flooded in for those most in need who were displayed by the Valley Fire. The outpouring of support for those stuck at the evacuation center in tents, trailers and truck beds is helping displaced homeowners deal with the unknown and loss.

"But I got to say, people here, the Red Cross, and all these people, they're doing magnificent job. Feeding and supplying and giving things," said Mike Stacy, who was evacuated from Cobb.

So many donations have flooded in that the Red Cross is asking people to donate money instead. You can donate here.

You can also donate to funds set up for Valley Fire victims at Redwood Credit Union, or at branches of Tri-Counties Bank.

If you'd like to volunteer your time to help the victims, you can do so by visiting LoveLakeCounty.org.

Save Mart announced today that customers throughout Northern California and Nevada can donate at checkout to Red Cross relief efforts of those affected by the Valley and Butte fires. Donations can also be made at Lucky stores, according to company spokesperson Nannette Miranda. Customers can donate as much as they like, and the amount will be printed on their receipt.
