Bicyclist Killed By Hit-And-Run Driver Near Rio Linda
SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) – Authorities say a man on a bicycle was hit and killed by a car late Sunday night.
The scene is near Elkhorn Boulevard and 14th Street in the Rio Linda area.
According to California Highway Patrol, a man in his 40s was on a bicycle in the bike lane when a car hit him. The impact was violent enough to send him several feet.
The car took off from the scene and has not been located as of Sunday night.
No description of the car has been released.
