Sacramento Will Be Finish Line For 2016 Amgen Tour Of California

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - The Amgen Tour of California will be coming back to Sacramento in 2016.

Sacramento will be the final stage of the annual bicycle race, Amgen announced Thursday.

The race will begin in San Diego on May 15. From there, the race will pass through South Pasadena, Santa Clarita, Thousand Oaks, Santa Barbara County, Morro Bay, Monterey County, Lodi, South Lake Tahoe, Santa Rosa and Folsom before ending on May 22 in Sacramento.

Sacramento, Santa Rosa, Folsom and Lodi will also be hosting the women's race.
