SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Sacramento Police say an Elk Grove man has been arrested in the Spencer Stone stabbing case.
At a press conference early Wednesday afternoon, police announced that 28-year-old James Tran was the man arrested. Tran was arrested after his car was stopped by police Wednesday morning. He was taken into custody without incident.

Police say Tran has a criminal history and didn’t know Stone.

Tran is now facing a charge of attempted homicide.
