Kings Fall At Home To T'Wolves, 101-91

The Sacramento Kings have made a lot of progress in the last couple of weeks after a 1-7 start to the season.

One thing they can't seem to improve on, however, is their record without DeMarcus Cousins - the Kings fell to 1-6 on the season without the injured big man, losing to Minnesota 101-91 Friday night at Sleep Train Arena.

Sacramento, missing Cousins for the second straight game, were unable to maintain the momentum from their 129-118 win in Milwaukee on Wednesday night. Rudy Gay had just 2 points, going 1 for 13 from the field after scoring 36 against Milwaukee.

Rajon Rondo was a bright spot again for the Kings with 16 points and 16 assists, his fifth game this season with 15 or more assists.

Andrew Wiggins had 22 points to lead Minnesota (8-8), who shot 48% from the field and made 18 of 19 free throws.

Darren Collison, Marco Belinelli, and Omri Casspi combined for 42 points off the bench for the Kings (6-11), who did not score a single fast break point.
